About Molly
Hi, I’m Molly Nofzinger, the heart and hands behind Beyond-The-Board! My journey to starting this business began with a deep love for creativity and a passion for baking that started in my childhood. Growing up, baking was my outlet, and it all began with a cake decorating class in Girl Scouts that sparked my love for the craft. Over the years, I taught myself how to decorate cakes and used that confidence to explore new recipes and cooking experiments.
After working in a stressful corporate job that left me unfulfilled, I knew I needed a change. Drawing inspiration from my roots in a family business, I realized I had the determination and grit to start something of my own. Owning a bakery had always been a dream, but I wanted to think outside the box—and that’s how Beyond-The-Board came to life.
For me, the kitchen is more than just a workspace; it’s my happy place. Beyond-The-Board allows me to channel my love for creativity into every charcuterie board and catering order I design, making each one as unique as the event it’s meant for. While taking the leap to build this business was nerve-wracking, it’s been incredibly rewarding. Seeing a happy customer’s reaction and knowing I played a part in their special moments makes all the hard work worthwhile.
At my core, I believe in honest communication, hard work, and the importance of creating a product that not only meets but exceeds expectations. I’m constantly learning and growing, and while I can be my own worst critic, I pour my heart into everything I create. My goal is to provide my community with exceptional service, a unique take on catering, and a reason to come back again and again.
